Compliance

At Replace, the focus is on sustainability and quality - in our business relationships and our products. We deliver regulatory compliance and peace of mind to our partners.

Supply chain and business solutions

GDPR is the new data protection regulation in force across Europe from May 25, 2018.

GDPR creates major new obligations. Businesses must be prepared to ensure that they manage data in a more restricted way, ensure that any data for which they are responsible is deleted securely when they are no longer using it – and gives any EU citizen the right to demand any data held on them by a company.

This includes:

  1. GDPR related compliance evaluation
  2. Personal data related risk assessment
  3. Higher Risk areas indicated and actions planned to reduce risk level
  4. Personal Data Policy created
  5. Personal Data Protection Officer appointed
  6. Personal Data related written procedures updated
  7. Personal Data Employees Handbook created

Replace began working to address GDPR requirements for our clients when the regulations were announced. In order to comply with GDPR and personal data related contractual requirements we initiated a GDPR compliance project within the company itself. C-level management and board members are personally involved in the project to secure the best result across the company, and to deliver the fruits of that to our partners.

WEEE and environmental standards

The WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) recycling directive requires that businesses ensure that waste products are treated correctly and meet recovery and recycling guidelines.

Replace holds a waste processing license from the Estonian Environmental Board, which allows us to receive, process and resupply electronic waste in compliance with the EU Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE).

Replace helps our partners meet the requirements of WEEE by:

  • Training partner staff to implement WEEE requirements on their premises
  • Supporting partners to achieve the buyback requirement of WEEE
  • Managing waste streams directly for partner

We have a waste processing license from the Estonian Environmental Agency, allowing us to receive, process and reuse electronic waste in compliance with the EU Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE). We’re able to handle used electronic goods across the Nordic region and further afield, enabling our partners to safely outsource this section of their supply chain and its attendant regulatory burdens.

Transboundary shipment of waste

We will help you with transboundary shipment of wastes so that all requirements are met with Regulation (EC) No 1013/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 June 2006 on shipments of waste.

Integrated Management System and Continuous Improvement

Our main goal is to be a customer-friendly, fast and reliable service provider of electronic equipment and waste collection, re-use and recovery center.

Our company’s guiding principles are:

  • We provide our customers with high quality products and services through the continuous development of people and work processes.
  • We work to reduce the negative environmental impact of our activities and increase the positive environmental impact of our company through the re-use of equipment.
  • We create for our employees a safe and pleasant working environment to deliver the best results.
  • We value responsible business by monitoring compliance with legal acts and other requirements in our activities. Honesty and transparency in our relationships, the lack of corruption and customer / employee data security are important to us.
  • We believe that innovation is important and we are always looking for ways to implement new technologies, methods and good employees’ ideas.

In order to comply with GDPR and personal data related contractual requirements we initiated a GDPR compliance project within the company itself. C-level management and board members are personally involved in the project to secure the best result across the company, and to deliver the fruits of that to our partners.
